It all started when…
BA vocal music, minor in child psychology
Libby Scott is a recent graduate from Texas State University. She graduated with her bachelors of music with a concentration in Soprano Vocal. She also has a minor in child psychology. With that, she is furthering her education to become a licensed music therapist alongside teaching lessons. Libby is also a certified Kindermusik instructor and teaches music classes for toddlers at Curious Chords as well. Libby has always had a love for music. She started singing in choir in sixth grade and has been performing ever since then. In college, she was a part of the Texas State’s University Singers and performed for the University for special occasions. Besides choir, Libby also has experience being in and helping lead an acapella group and singing mainstream music, which she loves to perform individually and accompany herself with either piano or ukulele. Libby is also the worship leader for a Texas State organization called Crosstalk, and she also helps lead worship at Cypress Creek Church in Wimberley. Libby has always had a passion for helping people find their voice and build confidence in their own musical abilities. She hopes to create a space where students feel comfortable being themselves and showing off their individual talents, while also being open to the idea of learning and growing into better musicians. Libby has taken voice lessons for 7 years now, and hopes to help students achieve their goals and gain confidence in themselves just like her voice teachers have done for her in the past.
